Environmental

In order to add environmental functionality to any level force field, the power source must be changed and a particle generator must be installed. This will effectively double the price. This shield works by using a super dense element which is particalized and then charged. It is then controlled and maintained using a force field. The end result is a field that can deflect most types of damage. The field is depleted when the source element is gone (when the armor points are reduced to zero). Unlike a standard force field however, the source element can be replaced and the and the shield may be reused.

Regeneration

Force Fields can be equipped with a Regenerative device for double the base cost. (Regeneration for Level 1 would cost $1,000,000 and Regeneration for Level 10 would cost $10,000,000) Once installed the regeneration unit will allow the force field to regenerate 10% of its overall armor points per round. The regeneration can only take place when the device is in a stable state and is not incurring damage. The Generation device itself is fusion based and will continue to function for the operational life of the device.


Optional additons:

ADM or Autonomous Defense Module is a shielding system designed to be an upgrade for environmetnal personal force fields. The system consists of a computer based environmental monitoring system that attempts to anticipate the location of an unavoidable attack to the host. By anticipating the location of the attack, the ADM system will temporary reroute power from the over-all structural integrity of the force field to one small concentrated area with the hope of reducing the damage or outright deflecting the attack.
